Quickly Noted: More Stickers!
Okay, so everyone knows how much I love stickers around here, so I’d be remiss if I didn’t pass this along.
Part of a great campaign being run by the ASPH, which looks to explain what public health is to students and the public at large, the stickers are intended to be placed around campus and town on things that are public health. Think everything: from evacuation route signs to busses to bikes to hand washing stations to well, just about everything.
The sticker-er is then supposed to take a picture of the sticker and upload it (and the GPS coordinates for plotting on a map) to Flickr. Super-cool use of the tools I preach about way too often.
The site is integrated pretty heavily with WhatisPublicHealth.org, a site intended to introduce the ins and outs of public health in more depth.
To review: free stickers, web 2.0 goodness, and recruiting the next generation of public health professionals; this could end up being my favorite post ever!
