Quickly Noted: Reading Material

January 14, 2009

I heard about a really cool looking journal that I’d never heard of today in the Twitterstream. Published online and edited by George Washington University students, Cases in Public Health Communication & Marketing subscribes to the tenet of open access (big props on that), and focuses on the real world application of public health solutions as opposed to pure research. For those interested, the first two issues look really good.

The second thing that came out today is the second issue of the CDC-sponsored, CERC-focused Risk Communicator newsletter. This issue has a lot of info on communications around hurricanes, and an updated calendar for folks interested in the field of CERC.

Enjoy!
