A new friend of the blog from Iowa pointed me towards this great resource put out by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). While they usually focus on improving healthcare systems (that’s really all I thought they did), our friend passed along this link to a preparedness page:

While there is no date for when it was last updated, and some of the latest updates look a bit older (see Research Portfolios last updated in 2005 and last webcast from May, 2009), our friend assures me that some hospitals have found the evacuation and recovery checklists posted there to be quite helpful.

If nothing else, it looks like a very interesting resource. Thanks again!
